About Durham Digital

Our state-of-the-art transmitters are now on the air across Darlington and the south of County Durham and we hope to add the northern parts of the county in the near future.

Established and operated by local people with vested interests in creating quality radio services for the area, Durham Digital was primarily set up to support local community radio stations in the delivery of their social gain objectives by offering affordable access to DAB radio frequencies in the County Durham and Darlington areas. Now all types of local radio stations can also benefit from the latest technology and our assistance in establishing their service on Britain's newest broadcasting platform.

Our multiplex will eventually carry more than twenty different services in digital quality, all of them new to digital radio in this area.
